How long does it take from time of order to my PC being ready for collection? All our PCs are custom and built to order. We don't sell pre-built PCs and we don't keep any parts in stock. Generally, most builds take 3 - 5 days from time of order until completion. Overclocked / premium systems take 5 - 7 days due to the optimisation and testing required. At busy times these timescales can be extended to 6 - 10 days. Even then, this is still quicker than most online custom PC retaillers.

Why do you price your PCs higher than other local builders? At Kuda PC we offer a premium service. Our pricing reflects our expertise, use of best-in-class components, technical support and warranty. 1. We cherry pick parts based on their build quality so our PCs are reliable and operate at peak performance. We focus on the premium side of what is available when it comes to every component. We also source components locally where we can to support local businesses. 2. We match the level of components against the other parts in the build. For example, we would pair an Intel Core i9 14900K with a Z790 motherboard, not a B760. Higher end motherboards use higher quality onboard components that are designed to handle the stress of top-tier parts. The difference between a motherboard that's fit for a 14900K and a basic one could be as much as £300. 3. We offer a comprehensive 3 year parts and 5 year labour warranty. While the hardware failure rate is low, components can fail. Diagnosing faults and issues is a quick process and we can have most issues fixed within 3 – 5 working days. We can even lend you a PC until yours is fixed to minimise any disruption. It’s also beneficial to shop local as you don’t have to send your PC away to be fixed which can take weeks. We also offer a lifetime warranty on RAM. 4. We optimise each PC for cool and quiet operation and performance. This includes selecting a CPU cooler based on the thermal design power of the CPU (measured in watts) and ensuring there are adequate intake and exhaust fans. Futher to that we design custom fan and pump curves, optimise the operating system, overclock and tune the RAM to increase bandwidth and drop latency and overclock and undervolt the CPU and GPU to reduce temperatures and increase performance. Ultimately, anyone can throw a PC together, but optimising PCs to this level takes days and expert knowledge. This is especially true when it comes to a workstations. 5. We test our PCs for at least 24 hours, with premium systems being tested as long as 72 hours. This includes periods using CineBench R23, FurMark, HCI Memtest, Karhu, OCCT, Prime95, TestMem5, Unigine, y-cruncher and the 3Dmark suite. Then, play testing user specific games, idle tests and workstation loads. 6. We use tier A gold rated power supplies in all our builds. These power supplies are more expensive, but are the most reliable and have the best protections in place. These power supplies also have extended warranties (7 – 10 years) 7. We think ahead in terms of system planning and use bigger power supplies than what are required so that you're less likely to need to upgrade your power supply for a more powerful graphics card. This also lends to the efficiency of the PC and we optimise power draw to save you money on your electricity bill. 8. We use higher end cases with tempered glass side panels and take case length into consideration. Case length is important as more powerful graphics cards feature triple fan configurations. 9. We are a business and there are overheads associated with building PCs. For example, consumables and insurance. 10. We are professionals who value our time and take pride in our work.

I want to build my PC. Can you teach me?Yes, we offer this option as part of our PC build service. We order the parts in, test everything and bench the PC for 24 hours. This mitigates against any potential faults which would cause issues on build day. The cost of this service depends on the complexity of the build and whether the build happens at our workshop or at your premises.
